The 2-bolt design features:
The base plate separates on the 2-bolt design so it is convenient for changing various rigs. Base plates can be purchased separately and installed on each of your boards. The base plate can be loosened for mast track adjustments with the built-in allen head located inside the stainless steel foot. Just pull back on the half-moon clip to separate the plate from the joint.
The mechanical base allows you to attach the rig to your board without turning the board on its side because you are not working against the flexible joints of other designs.
