The Bic Beach shapes have been developed with maximum stability for beginners in mind but are still very maneuverable to allow development of advancing skill levels. Two sizes to choose from are the 225 and 175. The 225 targets larger riders and more stability for ease of learning. The 175D is a more compact board, and is suited to lighter-weight beginners. Both glide well in light winds while maintaining good maneuverability. It is a very solid board, and particularly apt for both sailing schools, clubs and families.
