The new Nova 160 D is a feature proven hull shape with additional EVA deck padding and nose cone. The result is a model that can accommodate entry level skills and rapid progression to advanced level performance. It is constructed using a thermoformed composite technology to increase ding resistance and overall durability while remaining light weight. The hull outline is very maneuver friendly, while tail shapes benefit jibing skill development.

The Nova 160 D favors a fast track to short board performance. This is due to a shorter outline and wider width. It's also a strong consideration for smaller size sailors.

Detailed Features of the Nova 160 D; Auto Lock daggerboard system, footstraps with multiple placement options, and EVA deck pad and nose cone. Daggerboard benefits light wind stability and upwind performance when down, and increased foot steering and higher wind performance with daggerboard retracted up. Multiple footstrap positions located forward for developing strap use, and aft for enhanced foot steering and higher speeds. The EVA deck pad aids comfort and traction while creating an inviting surface to climb aboard.
